Viking SuChef allows remote connection to the new fully integrated 7 Series refrigeration products. Each of these new products include customer inspired features along with Bluetooth® and WiFi connectivity.
Connected refrigerators allow customers to receive helpful alerts and reminders, such as when it's time for a replacement filter, or if the door has been left open. Temperatures and settings within various areas of the refrigerator are also displayed and controlled on the Viking SuChef App.
Once Bluetooth® and WiFi is enabled on your mobile phone the appliance is visible for connection. Once connected the Viking SuChef App will allow the reading of various functions and temperatures with certain alerts sent to the user.
When the 7 Series Fully Integrated Refrigerator is connected the current temperature of the refrigerator displays and allows the adjustment of the target temperature either up or down. Within the Viking SuChef app you can also see the selected status and select the status of Max Cold, Max ice and Max Freeze. The SuChef App displays when the door is left open, which prevents food spoilage and protects your food investment.
For your convenience the app also has a water filter replace indicator to alert you when it is time to order a replacement water filter. Also visible on the app are indicators to set to vacation or Sabbath mode.
Upon first time use of the app and after connection via Bluetooth, the user has the option to register their refrigeration product . At that time they will be asked their model number and serial number and preferred settings for Celsius or Fahrenheit.
